In Pax Dei, groups are more than just a means to an end; they're a way to connect, strategize, and share memorable experiences with fellow players from around the globe (we are an MMO after all!)
These are some of the common issues you might encounter while managing or participating in group activities. This guide aims to help you understand and resolve some common errors related to group (party) activities in the game.

Important: Please note that group can only have 6 avatars in it!

How to Create a Group?

The initial step in creating a group is understanding that its existence is predicated on having more than one member.
Therefore, the creation of the group with other players is automatic when at least one player you have invited decides to accept your invitation to join your group.

Note: Your group name need to follow our community rules. Group name that will not follow it will be immediately disbanded and might lead to an action on the creator's account (up to definitive ban)

• • Potential error message:
    • Error 337: Group name unauthorized

How to Join a Group?

• You can be invited directly
  • Anyone with the required permission will have the option "Invite to group" when interacting with an avatar in game
  • Selecting this option and hitting "e" will send a group's invite to this avatar
  • The avatar invited will receive a notification
  • They need to open it ("N") and either Accept or Deny the invitation.
  • If the avatar is already in a group, it will need to leave its group to join a new group
  • Potential error message:
    • Error 328: You don’t have permission to invite players to this group
    • Error 331: This avatar is already in a group
    • Error 332: This avatar has already been invited to the group
    • Error 333: Your avatar is not in a group!

• If you cannot find a group invitation. Please ask the player with the required permission to send a new one.
  • Potential error message:
    • Error 335: Unable to find this invitation
    • Error 336: This group cannot be found

How to Manage a Group?

• Again, parties can only have a maximum of 6 avatars in it. Make sure to respect the group guidelines.
• Only group leader can kick other players from the group
  • Potential error message:
    • Error 329: You don’t have permission to kick a player from the group
    • Error 334: The group is full

• Promote/Demote avatar
  • Within the interface, simply click on the avatar of one of the group members to be able to promote them/demote them to the desired rank within the group.
  • The group leader cannot be promoted further as this is already the highest rank.
    • Note: If you are the group leader and you wish to promote someone else Leader, you will lose your leader status in favor of the selected member.
  • Potential error message:
    • Error 330: You don’t have permission to transfer the ownership of this group

• Disband a Group
  • To disband a Group, you need to be group leader. Click on your avatar, and select Disband the Group option
  • Potential error message:
    • Error 327: You don’t have permission to disband the group

Note: Messages on the group need to follow our community rules. Messages that will not follow it will be immediately disbanded and might lead to an action on the creator's account (up to definitive ban)

    • Error 338: Group Message considered as toxic

How to Leave a Group?

If you want to leave your current group, you simply need to click on TAB, right-click on your avatar, then select and confirm the 'leave group' option.
